Shan Gao gave her 10th CC speech to inspire the audience to find personal causes and personal approaches to tackle their goals by sharing her experience in college. She greatly used story telling approach to demonstrate a vivid picture of her experience to the audience.

Meghan Hodges gave her inspirational speech on how you can Be A Match for these patients who are suffering blood cancer. Meghan greatly used visual aids to engage the audience and lead the audience. She also showed her great dedication on being a match for these people who need help.

April O'Neal shared her belief and encouraged the audience (you) to be more than just an average by applying your core strength, setting a goal, understanding why the goal is important to you and using your time wisely to achieve the goal.

Alex Menoni gave us his CC speech #2 - Find the Right Mentor. He utilized visual aid - PowerPoint for this speech, which started with a great introduction and finished with a strong conclusion. His speech is very beneficial to the club. He introduced why we need a mentor and how to find a mentor.

Leigh Adams gave us her CC speech #8 about why we should have a work life balance. She excellently used drawing to demonstrate the relationship between work and life. She presented her ideas on how thinking with fun can make us more innovative, enhance our problem solving skills and even allow us to brand our ideas. She used great examples, such as Facebook story and a innovation idea about cigarette packaging to support her argument.

Lorin Greenstein gave us his pocket speech about his past weekend event - Garage Sale which he used Story-Telling approach to provide audience the opportunity to feel not only his frustration about the garage sale process but also his positive attitude on what the great outcome the garage sale brought to his life.

Shan Gao gave us her CC Speech # 9 - Volunteer Bigger to persuade audience to join a non-profit organization - Community Consulting Team (CCT) Atlanta, which provides volunteers (experienced business professionals) opportunities to work on projects - addressing strategic management challenges- proposed by all kinds non-profit & public sectors organizations. David Rowe gave an advanced speech on why we should march for polio disease. He used his vocal variety and great gesture to picture vividly of a story about his niece and nephew who experienced the disease. He also does an excellent job on drew audience attention with his distinguish speech openings!

Michelle O'Neal greatly used pictures to bring audience to her Derby experience. She also prepared material - local news papers to let audience have a great feel about Derby, Kentucky. Her speech provided audience a vivid picture of the great time she had!

Michelle O’Neal – engaged the audience very well by story-telling approach. She shared a story in a very vivid way about how she educated her kids the meaning behind “You reap what you sow”.

Shan Gao – Shared the motivation to bring innovations into daily tasks in a work environment. Shan shared her own experience on how to use “Buy-In” approach to ensure the execution and delivery of an innovation at work. She also proposed a process improvement idea to McKToast team.

Jim Dawson –a visiting Distinguished Toast Master used powerful visuals to educate the audience on the importance and benefits of preserving the forests of Georgia.

Advanced Speaker Margie Driscoll educated the audience about the McKesson Horizon Patient Folder product and the benefits it provides to patients and providers alike.

Michelle ONeal gathered her fellow ToastMasters around for an engaging tale on balancing career and family successfully. The secret is to have faith in one’s self through good times and bad alike.

Deidre Shellenberger adeptly employed visual aids to share useful tips for spring cleaning. The secret is to convince family members of the recreational fun to be had and mutual benefit.

Shan Gao captured the audience’s imagination with an active Planes, Trains and Automobiles-type speech on traveling on a tight schedule, through unknown territory in terrible weather. The secret to making your connections is to remain positive!

Advanced Speaker Debbie Brown employed the feedback opportunity of McKToast to practice a short work-related speech that she will be delivering to potential customers in the near future.

Shan Gao motivated members to begin an new Fiscal Quarter with a 5-step plan for developing professional leadership.

Alex Menoni introduced himself both personally and professionally to the club and highlighted his experiences as a mentor.

Judy Benson educated the club in the style of Clark Howard in her take on living well in lean times.

Debbie Brown demonstrated her quick thinking abilities and delivered an advanced pocket speech on employee relations management.

Shan Gao provided useful insights on effective written communications, especially email, as this is the predominant way modern business people communicate.

Michael Wakefield won the best speaker prize with a Powerpoint presentation on building relationships with young people in creative and fun ways

Judy Benson and Gina Hayworth delivered fascinating Ice Breaker speeches and included interesting looks into couponing and home décor respectively. Judy took home the Best Speaker prize for the day as well.

Margie Driscoll, Danny Kellenberger and David Schmidt covered advanced topics ranging from choosing speech topics to emotional storytelling.

Terry Vickers delivered speech #9 on age appropriate child discipline techniques and included an effective use of props.

Deidre Shellenberger also employed props for her sporty speech on the Atlanta Hawks.

Leigh Adams reminded fellow members of the importance of the sometimes neglected Leadership Track.
